To hire Commissioned Officers for the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS Exam). The exam is conducted twice a year and the minimum criterion to sit for the examination is marital status. Only unmarried females and males are allowed to compete for CDS coaching in Delhi. The selection procedure begins with a written exam and ends with the most challenging SSB interviews.
